I am sure many of you tuned in the other night to watch that punk Sean Penn read his open letter to President Bush in front of the usual suspects. He framed it quite eloquently when he called Bush, Cheney and Condi “villainously and criminally obscene people”. I was actually really impressed with his vocabulary. Mr. Penn, your high school education really paid off that evening. While I do respect the fact that the courageous Mr. Penn toured the streets of “Baghdad during this occupational war”; that does not make him an expert in foreign policy. The fact of the matter is Mr. Penn; you don’t know what the hell you are talking about. All you do is complain about the war in Iraq and boast that Iran is such a great country. If Iran is such a great country, why not shack up with Ahmadinejad and take up residence there? Believe me Sean; you would be doing all of us ‘level headed’ people a huge favor.
On the flip side Sean yes you are an above average actor. And, yes, I am a fan of some of your movies (i.e. Falcon and the Snowman and Mystic River); but you left-wing rhetoric puts you on the same playing field as Martin Sheen, Susan Sarandon and, of course, your fearless leader Cindy Sheehan. It’s people like you that make the Democratic Party look ridiculous and God knows that even they want all of you Hollywood types to shut the heck up!

Yeah, well at least he is man enough to tell it like it is. The fact is that the was in Iraq is wrong. It's always been wrong and we should get the hell out of there. I CAN'T wait until Bush leaves office.
you mean the WAR in Iraq, idiot.
Someone might wanna point this out to Sean Penn:
Currently the Islamic Republic of Iran is noted for significant human rights violations, despite efforts by human right activists, writers, NGOs and some political parties. Human rights problems include governmental impunity, restricted freedom of speech, gender inequality and in some cases torture.
Ravoy,
Regarding Mr. Penn:
Tell it like it is? Like what is?
Regardless of the fact that no WMD's have been found (yet), why were the U.N. inspectors restricted from some areas and finally kicked out? How many weak U.N. deadlines should Saddam been allowed to shrug off? Bottom line, there were too many "red flags" to ignore. I wish we'd walk from the U.N. but that'll never happen. Military intel, like your (and Penn's) knowledge of foreign policy, is limited. Actions, right or wrong (YOU can judge this?), were taken. Walking out now will have ramifications beyond comprehension, but I don't expect you to understand.
Another example of someone who should be shipped to N. Korea or China.
Well, whether or not I' partially agree with what Mr. Penn felt he had to tell Mr. Bush and his colleagues, I am shocked by the fact that your most stringent argument seems to be to ask him and his colleagues to refrain from using their right of freedom of speech (to shut up) or exercises it somewhere else... like Ahmadinejad's Iran.
Don't you have any better arguments?
Sean Penn, like most of Hollywood performers, makes his living imitating other people's life experiences in the movies. In Hollywood they are called "ACTORS" in the real world they are called lying con-men. He does appear to be pretty successful in acting like something he's not. The problem comes when he leaves his field of work and he shows how stupid he really is.
These guys are surrounded by their fans and "Yes People" and have lost their grip on reality if they ever had it in the first place. It's amazing these people in Hollywood make millions and millions of dollars for working 3 to 6 months on a project and it's done. Most of the world has to work every day just to make a living. These people make more in 3-6 months than the average person will make in a lifetime.
The wealth isn't enough, they have to go around and do everything they can to run down the United States and the people that allowed them to make, keep and protect their fortunes. It's easier to run some thing down that to defend it, isn't it Sean. You get the attention you are addicted to and don't have to face any real consequences for your actions. The sad part is how many idiots don't make the kind of money you do and cheer you on like you're in any way right. They are more pathetic than you are.
O.K. Sean hates the "War in Iraq". Poor Saddam Hussein. Sean hated Bush so much he went to Iraq, kissed Saddam's butt, they used him as a propaganda tool and he was shocked a murderous dictator used "HIM"! Now he's kissing up to another oppressive dictator Hugo Chavez and he we go again. That brain power is just jumping right out of that head of yours now, Sean!
I want to know why Sean Penn had no problem with Bill Clinton sending troops to Bosnia or any other military actions Bill Clinton exercised on the world. They didn't attack us like these other idiots did. It's no secret, Bill Clinton is a Dem and Bush is a Rep, mystery solved. That's how to determine what's right and what's wrong, more REAL intelligence Sean.
Sean is a self absorbed stupid man that has no understanding of the enemy this country faces. Not that anyone noticed but these idiots of Islam have been attacking us for over 15 years and they finally attacked us on our own soil with our own planes and in doing so murdered a few thousand people in cold blood in the name of their religion and probably cost the people of the U.S. hundreds of millions of dollars in property damage.
Sean's father and grand parents were Jewish and his mother was Catholic. Whether he practices any religion or not how can he sanction and agree with people that are dedicated and obsessed with murdering his family and him because he was of Jewish descent?
Are Sean and these other idiot liberals so dense that they believe these people just want to kill Conservatives and Republicans? If so, does Sean think that would be O.K.? Were we supposed to allow them the attack us on our soil and then negotiate with them and ask them not to do it again. What a SNATCH!
Sean isn't brave, he's a SNATCH. It's easy to attack Bush and the Republicans knowing they believe you have the right to free speech and they won't do anything to you. Why don't you publically denounce the murdering of the thousands of 911 victims by these Islamic idiots or do you feel that all those people deserved to die because they weren't famous like you? Would Sean feel the same if a member of his family had been killed in 911 for NO REASON?
Sean you are a selfish, self-serving, uneducated, hateful, whiney punk that doesn't deserve to live under the flag of freedom that America has provided so you can mouth off your stupid opinions. You and other liberals show your stupidity by making all your decisions based on the hatred that you're consumed by, you people are truly pathetic!
Well said Mr. Don Mc...indeed, pathetic!
Hanoi Jane, Caracas Sean. Maybe Sean should go back to Ridgemont High and take a few classes in Economics and World History. Then, maybe, he wouldn't look like such an idiot. Listening to Sean Penn about international policy and politics is like asking LeBron James for financial advice. Stick to acting and stop looking stupid with Hugo the chimp.
well, actually Lebron may know a little about finance; he seems like a smart guy to me...i would compare it to asking Alan Iverson for advice.
I totally agree with Mr. Urban Conservative, Well Said Mr. Don Mc, he IS A PATHETIC SNATCH! You covered a whole lot of stupid in your letter.
This is GREAT, Jeff Spicoli enters the world of international politics and as usual he thinks he's knows what's going on! Get back in that van, smoke some more of the dope you must be on and shut your mouth. I feel sorry for your wife and kids, they must be totally embarrassed at your stupidity.
What an egomaniac!
I have a better argument. Correct, all Americans have the Right to Free Speech but that doesn't guaranty them an audience and/or to operate as a subversive against our government especially while we are at war which is exactly what Sean Penn is doing by taking this letter he wrote to President Bush public, buddying up to Saddam Hussein and Hugo Chavez. This guy is a communist egomaniac. He's mad and wants to throw a fit because he can't have his way but he wants the attention more than anything else.
My right to free speech says that I can tell Sean Penn to take his hatred of the America that gave him everything he owns somewhere else because I don't want to hear it. In other words I can tell him to shut up and I am exercising my right to do that right now.
But Sean is doing more than exercising his right to free speech. He is siding with an enemy of the United States in a public forum and openly speaking against the U.S. government while we are at war with an enemy that murdered innocent Americans on U.S. soil.
REAL Americans are tired of hearing America being run down by other countries because they're jealous, the media and the liberals because they're no longer able to B.S. us and stay in power.
This guy is a joke. He forgets that he is nothing more then the court jester. He and the rest of them need to shut up and try to entertain us. If I want to know his thoughts I will toss him a nickel and say speak.
Here's the deal... this whole jihad thing didn't start until we started dealing with the saudis. We raped and pillaged their land. By all means we should defend ourselves but lets at least reflect on what we have done. You all call sean an egomaniac, but can't grasp the concept that our great country can be wrong sometimes. You'd be surprised what good diplomacy can accomplish.... even when it comes to iran. That's not some naive liberal bullshit, it's the shared dream of man and common sense.
