I have been struggling between Romney, Giuliani and Thompson for several weeks now and I have finally decided that Fred is the right man for the job. Out of the three, he clearly exemplifies true conservative values. One indicator is his voting record during the eight years in Washington was well received by ideological right-wing extremists; guys like me of course. You can see where he stands on each issue here.
Also, not only is he elect-able, but it’s very clear to me that Fred can stand toe-to-toe with just about any opponent thanks to his star power, personal appeal, and strong communication skills. He also has superior facial recognition from his role as Arthur Branch on the television show “Law and Order.” Now, I won’t back a candidate just because they are elect-able; I was a strong supporter of Tom McClintock during his run for the Governor of California even though everyone and their mother knew that he didn’t stand a chance against liberal Arnold.
Moore importantly, Fred has the balls to stand up against liberal scum like Michael Moore, yet he does it so professional! Watch the video below…

Southern Fried Reagan ... he's already 2nd in many straw polls yet has not even officially entered! Go Fred!!
Welcome aboard!
An excellent choice Sir! ;- )
Glad to have you on the team.
yes, indeed...excellent choice. Fred is the man.
I'm still kind of on the fence. It is a toss up with Fred and Newt. Newt is brilliant and has excellent common sense ideas but does have a bit of baggage.
Fred has really good stage appearance and can hold his own against anyone.
I'll make my decision in Sept.
Thought you might like to hear about the God and Governing conference coming up at Trinity Law School.

If you want a true conservative (read also: constitutionalist), Fred is NOT the man for you. He will be four more years of Bush. Fred's voting record on issues such as illegal immigration and unconstitutional federal involvement with such issues as education and healt care are much less than exemplory. You may want to consider checking our Congressman Ron Paul at http://www.RonPaul2008.com This man is the only Republican running who stands for real change and has a 9 term congressional voting record to back up what he's saying. Also, Fred is a member in good standing of the Council on Foreign Relatons - the so-called think tank that is pushing for the North American Union and was a lobbyist for a pro-abortion group before he was in Congress.
Ron Paul is weak! He has no balls, conviction, etc. Fred is indeed the man.
Where do you get the idea that Ron has no "balls" or "conviction"? Is it because he is polite and soft-spoken? Yes, that is definitely NOT a characteristic I want in a president. I want one that is an authoritarian that likes to abuse his position. No conviction? He has been in Congress for twenty years and has stuck to his convictions unwaveringly throughout that time. No conviction? One of the only Repulicans that voted against Iraq and the Patriot Act. It is clear he is perfectly willing to ostracize himself from the rest of his party for his convictions.
Fred Thompson will go nowhere if he gets out of the primaries. Ron Paul is the only candidate that can possibly beat Hilary, because he is the only one that has any chance of attracting liberals.
Ron Paul is the only TRUE conservative out of the bunch. Small government, protection of civil liberties, non-interventionist foreign policy. And he has the record to back it up.
It's interesting to see that you are deciding between Giuliani, Thompson, and Romney. Are you that dead-set on preserving the establishment? These men are rich, they are not ordinary individuals. They don't identify with values the American people hold, nor do they care about Americans. They care about power and authority, make no mistake.
No, it's because he comes off as a military pacifist which we certainly don't need. I like one or two of his stances which are based in traditional conservatism, but as our new president he just doesn’t have enough. On balance, Ron is indistinguishable from liberal democrat philosophy.
And to your statement that "... he is the only one that has any chance of attracting liberals" This is a fallacy, our candidate should focus on mobilizing the conservative base not the liberal base. If the conservative nominee does this effectively then the Billary machine (and evil) will be defeated.
I must say Thompson has been a disappointment to me. I had hoped that he was really interested in making a serious run, but I've come to the conclusion he's in it for the publicity and nothing more. I get no sense of engagement from him and barring a South Carolina suprise I think he'll be gone after that primary.
I was primed to support him and so far as I can see he's just mailed it in.
I'm down with Tom Tancredo.
Yeah, I was pulling for Fred too! He is a very conservative guy; he is just running a VERY WEAK campaign. He performed poorly during the debates too.
