Yeah, umm…not really. While I am no Bush apologist, he is far from an arsonist. The “Bush to blame for everything” crowd and many democrats are blaming the Bush Administration for the dreadful wildfires rampaging throughout southern California. The reasoning is quite hilarious; but what else can you expect from such people.
The claim is that “because the National Guard is serving in Iraq, there are no resources to help combat the fires”.
Wrong!!! The Pentagon has stated that 17,000 Guardsmen are available and are just waiting to be called to help out.
And then, California’s Lieutenant Governor – can’t even remember his name — told Chris Mathews that President Bush’s upcoming visit to the region would be a “distraction” and that it was only for “public relations” and that he (meaning Bush) should “send the National Guard back from Iraq” to help with the fires. Umm…see above.
This schmuck seems to forget that when the President didn’t go to New Orleans right after Hurricane Katrina in 2005, he was blasted by the same people who are blasting him for this! He is damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t. Damn!
And now for my favorite one…
A few days ago, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said that global warming was to blame for the fires in the San Diego area.
“One reason why we have the fires in California is global warming,”
And then of course, asked moments later by another reporter if he really believed that global warming caused the fires, Reid denied having said that. Flip flopping seems to be a common thread in the Democratic Party.
President Bush may be many things; and he is far from perfect. But neither he nor his policies could be to blame for everything bad that happens in this world. The fact of the matter is – and according to USA Today - that the fires in California were caused by power lines, and possibly arson, according to our friends at the LA Times.
Some of the very same areas burned just a few years ago and no one suspected global warming then. Oh, but then again, maybe Bush flew to California in the middle of the night, using a secret helicopter, set fire to California; then flew back before anyone could notice! Riiight!

Bush, being the dumbest president in American history, has sent our country on its current downward spiral. Astronomical gasoline prices, two wars sapping our national treasury, over 400 war dead with no end in sight, the deficit reaching unbelievable levels...He only speaks for Big Oil and cares nothing about the average American. The majority of Americans simply cannot wait for the end of his administration! Bush is the most incompetent fool foisted on us by the Big Oil interests! I can't wait top be rid of this dumbass!
