A Congratulatory Letter to Fellow “Rombots” after Mitt Romney’s Resounding Michigan Win
We stood united in our beliefs because we know there is no substitute for being on the RIGHT side of issues.
We ignored the naysayers, the drive-by’s, the mainstream media (MSM), the Politico, the hacks who are sorry excuses for journalists…because we stood firm in our convictions and had the courage to stand up for what is right.
We stood firm in our convictions because we know there is no refuting talent, achievement, reason, dignity, and justice.
We defied those who denigrate and impugn the character of a perfectly dignified man based on religious bigotry, selective justice, emotional allegiance, or the selfish advancement of their own causes, with utter disregard for laws, individual liberties, constitutional rights, and American safety.
We called out the con-artist Mike Huckabee, who is the poster boy for religious bigotry, who wielded his own religion as a weapon, and underhandedly promoted his candidacy by calling upon the “pastor network” to anchor the get-out-the-vote (GOTV) effort, all while claiming victory on a “shoestring” budget. Right.
We exposed the con-artist John McCain, who holds deep contempt for the principles and members of his own party, who played dirty campaign tricks while hypocritically hiding behind the recycled “Don’t beat me up because I’m a war hero” armor. Um hmmm.
(The two spineless men did not have the courage nor respect to stay in Michigan to concede, the way Gov. Mitt Romney did with dignity in IA and NH. McCain likely jumped right back on the Straight-Talk-Depressed.)
We even endured being called “ROMBOTS”, a branding we came to embrace.
Our loyalty remained intact, in spite of ups and downs, because our loyalty is based not on convenience, but lasting, sound principles. We did not change with the times, the tides, the news, the blues.
And finally, we believed the words of a man who declared he would win Michigan, for our clear judgment tells us he is not a man who speaks without careful consideration of his ability to deliver. After all, he is a man of his word.
And today… (drum roll)

WE ARE VICTORS!!!
We will continue to stomp out the adversaries who are very envious right about now, and who will resort to desperate charges, excuses, distortions, and lies to catch their last breath.
Hold your fire (for today only); spare them their despair in this moment of utter humiliation.
We will continue to spread the message about Gov. Mitt Romney’s candidacy, not because we’re blindly imbued, but because we deeply and passionately believe he is what America needs in these trying times. If Mitt can’t do it, it simply can’t be done.
And remember, we will continue to stand united with the same conviction and resolve…on our way to the ultimate victory!
The time for action is now. “Talk” must end.
Note: Gov. Romney is the GOP frontrunner with the most wins, the most votes, and the most delegates in the Republican primary. Learn more about his candidacy at www.MittRomney.com.

Don't get your panties all wet quite yet sweetie. You make it sound like he was just nominated. haha.
I am hoping the wins continue. Who do you think he would choose as a running mate? Who would Mcain, or Huck choose. They just might be running against Clinton/Obama. Thanks for the thought RON PAUL
Oh yea, maybe Obama/Edwards
No offense intended. If you believe in these "electable" candidates, these filthy rich politicians, if you truly believe that they are going to "change things", or make real efforts to improve the health and happiness of society as a whole, you are insulting yourself. You need to read more about American history.
pleasehelp. They all suck. All we can do it try to choose the lesser of all the suckee's. I feel we are heading for some tough times and no one person is going to change anything. The supporters of "amnesty" unfair trade policies and meddling in other countries politics are going to do us in as far as jobs and our economy. What happens when we piss China off? Where will we get our products? We are pretty much screwed with no time to vote out all the suckers who got us here. Past administrations are to blame also. Both parties
This election has demonstrated more then anything else how the values of Christ and those of the consevative movement are seperate. I see more and more Christians wanting to stay home and avoid bringing more dishonor to the name of our savior.
Steve says:
How Can any conservative vote for Romney?
He was listed as one of the top ten Republicans in Name Only by Human Events Magazine.

What will he be after the primary?
And would he be another George Bush if he gets elected?
straight talk? What the hell does that mean?
Romney will lose in the general election if he is the Republican nominee
What's Romney's stance this week? Probably whatever panders to the local crowd. I'm a die hard Republican (but first a Conservative), and this guy makes me sick to my stomach. He's the religious version of Bill Clinton... will say and do anything to get elected.
I agree with NDFDCAPTAIN's first line, they all suck. Can't figure out where to throw my vote, may come down to throwing it away on Fred, or settling for McCain. Either way, it is depressing.... Wouldn't vote for Romney, Huckabee Ron Paul or Guliani for sure.
LACONSERVATIVE IS QUIET!!! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU!!! LOL
Well, I have not logged in for a few days, but now that I have, I might as well have forgone the process. Does any naysayer have anything substantive to say other than the same ol MSM talking points? Yawn.
We're taking Florida! Yay!!!
Sure La, there is always room for hope. I wish for a win for Romney, just hope the Mormon thing doesnt put him down again. I see he is wearing less "stuffed suits" and relaxing a bit more. Thats got to be a good thing. He doesnt want to look like the "guy that laid you off" right!
Can we see change from Romney? Cut spending, cut taxes. I hope so, but on the other hand, you have to love all the grants for Fire/EMS. The new SAFER grant will give us six new full time positions. Or maybe the feds will help us buy a new ambulance this year. I really do not agree that they should be taking care of our local departments, but they seem so willing to give out money. That needs to stop!!
Read Romney's answers in this Boston Globe questionnaire. I don't understand how an intelligent human can read these answers and say, "This is the guy I want representing me."

LaConservative, are you a self-taught writer? You say: "Does any naysayer have anything substantive to say other than the same ol MSM talking points? Yawn." What is this article, anyway? Some cheerleading article for Mitt Romney, and nothing more. There is absolutely no real substance. I'm trying to understand people who support the Republican Party (I'm not a Democrat), and if this site is any indicator, we are absolutely screwed. This is literally weird.
What is it, specifically, that draws your support to Romney?
Also, if you know Billy hallowell, please have him answer my question on his Liberal Media Bias article.
Thanks
@ pleasehelp
What part of the Boston.com article are you disputing?
"I'm trying to understand people who support the Republican Party (I'm not a Democrat), and if this site is any indicator, we are absolutely screwed. This is literally weird."
I own this site; but I do have frequent guest bloggers (i.e. Billy and LAConservative) write about various topics. I like to have multiple conservative opinions represented here.

Just about all of it.

That was a little strong. Sorry about that.
I can't take Laconservative seriously. I really do assume her articles are some sort of joke or something.

A: Assume = makes an ass out of U and Me. In this case, you. 1) I am not a Republican. 2) It's convenient to attack substance when you don't agree, but it's not a persuasive argument. You'd be better served to point out, specifically, that with which you do not agree. 3) If you're genuinely curious to know what exactly draws my support to Romney, the easiest and most responsible route would be to READ THE POSTS I HAVE ALREADY WRITTEN. FYI: They are on THIS site, in case you need help with navigation.
B. This is not the MSM. I do not claim to be a reporter. Apparently you have failed to realize this site is a BLOG. In blogs, people state their OPINIONS. I laugh when people say things like, "Well, that's only YOUR opinion". Of course it's my opinion! I'm the one writing, dammit! My suggestion to those who disagree: Don't read.
