McCain went from calling the "media" his base to shutting out all who would dare disagree with him- including Mark Murphy, McCain's 2000 campaign strategist.  Murphy wrote something critical concerning McCain's campaign tactics and lack of a clear message.  McCain feels "betrayed" by any  negative critique.  It's an attitude that has followed him since childhood when he pouted and held his breath to get his way.
McCain has tried to rationalize his  nasty, negative campaign, hate calls, and selective press allowed near him or Palin saying that "...it would have been different if Obama had done the town halls with me".  

Nobody is buying what McCain is trying to sell- whatever that is this week.

The only people that do not want anything to do with McCain/Palin are those who don't understand or care about Obama's economic policy and how it will affect our economy and the rest of the world.  In the end if Obama is elected, the reason we don't have jobs/retirement and can't give handouts to others will be clear!  Yesterday's announcement of the polls tighening came out, and the stock market immediately went from negative to positive.  there was no other news that came out at that time and some brokers called me to inform me of the change and verified the cause.  does that say anything about the affect of Obama's policies and how all of us will be affected?  Most definitely!

You can throw any studies at me that you want, but we can all see right through them.  Ever heard of the saying "the truth hurts"?  Well, when the truth about Obama's relationships FINALLY started to come out, the media was so afraid of how it would impact the election that they turned negative VERY QUICKLY in their coverage of John McCain.  That is why it went negative.  It had nothing to do with his response to the financial crisis as BOTH candidates responded the same way.  Although, I have to say that I was a little disappointed that McCain didn't vote against the bailout!  He, as all politicians do for political purposes, had to go with the conventional flow on it.  And look where we are now!!  Are you that naive toe to believe all of the crap that you hear from the media?  Don't even show me any "media studies" that have been conducted on the race.  I have been following it closely myself, and I am smart enough to know what is happening.  I don't need the media to tell me!!  That is one of the biggest problems we have in this country.  Too many people either don't want to think for themselves, or are unable to do so.  The "blind are following the blind" toe.  Pied Piper has blown his pipe, and all of his little lemmings are following him right over the cliff.  Have a nice fall toe!!

If you actually watched the  utterly unprofessional "interview" done with Biden , you will see that this "interviewer" asked nothing from Biden but "talking points"  taken directly from McCain's stump speeches. Biden handled her questions with no problem since they were so absurd. 
It was hardly an unbiased interview by any stretch.  I had to look to see if it was a FOX affiliate, frankly- but WFTV is an ABC affiliate, apparently.

In contrast, the McCain interview by this same "reporter" was soggy with softballs.

1.  McCain is concerned about the redistribution of wealth.  the higher taxes will not go into paying off our debt, building infrastructure, or anything that will really make a difference in the long run.  everyone has choices and there is plenty of help out there if they want it.  the programs that are available are incredible.  they just have to want it and make the effort.  i have tried to help so many people and they just want handouts without having to work for it.  of course, the democrats just want to give them money.  novel idea--they can buy more booze, drugs and have more kids!  what encouragement is this to do better?  republicans want efficiency and no government run program has EVER run efficiently. 

2.  In a bad economy you don't raise taxes on anyone unless you want people to be unemployed.  that is what happens when companies are taxed more and can't bring in more income. 

5.  How many people don't know that huge corps don't pay taxes???????  as i have said before close the loopholes (dumb in a bad economy though).  However, mid to small businesses are soaked in taxes already unfortunately and you piss them off and people will lose jobs. 

4.  Now it is a free country and instead of complaining, people can get off their lazy butts and start their own businesses.  wait a minute----oh i keep forgetting the middle to lower income folks ususally don't have the money to start their own businesses and are not independently wealthy so they rely on those terrible, mean employers to hire them.  you are at the employers mercy when you want jobs but then try to kick them in the ass the first chance you get.  how two-faced is that?  you also have choices of where you are employed based on your efforts in gaining skills. 

5.  poor people do not hire people and businesses will cut back if their taxes are raised just as families do.  that is common sense.  of course, there are some folks who can't think for themselves and don't understand economics so they have to quote articles, etc., and try to blame FOX news!  i laugh every single time esp when i hear liberals quoting Obama's promises and they really believe them!  of course, there is no record of accomplishments so that is all they have to go on!
