The reason most liberals hate guys like me is that I don’t fit that typical “conservative” stereotype. Yah know…the white, upper-class, Capitol Hill Republican from the south who listens to country music. No, I have no problem with my fellow brethren just mentioned because for the most part we hold true to the same conservative values; but that’s just not me. I’m a new breed of conservative…think Conservative 2.0; yet to be fully defined. I consider myself a second generation of conservative thought and attitude.
We’re being told by the main stream media (and Al Gore) that the global warming debate is over and that there is a consensus among scientists saying that you and I are the cause. However, what they are not telling you is that debate is not over. The fact is that many scientists who were once global-warming apologists are now skeptical of global-warming and its causes.
If you haven’t heard (and you probably haven’t if all you watch is network TV), a vegan couple was sentenced to life in prison for starving their baby. The couple was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison for the death of their malnourished 6-week-old baby boy, who was fed a diet consisting of soy milk and apple juice. Okay, so you are wondering how this relates to liberalism, right? Well, it’s quite simple if you use your head for more than just a hat rack. Most vegans are liberals. It’s that simple.
I don’t think there is anyone happier than I that Rosie will not be returning to the View nest season; and quite honestly, I think they all suck with the exception of the lovely (conservative) Elisabeth Hasselbeck. I don’t know about you but there is just something about Rosie that bugs the crap out of me. And even though I am no big fan of the Trumpster either, I did enjoy his bashing of her, her career and the View in general. Oh and boy do I agree with Camille Paglia’s column just yesterday where she points out that “O’Donnell is a bad advertisement for liberalism”. I couldn’t agree more; and hopefully Joy Beeeeeehar is on her way out too! So the question remains; who will replace Rosie?
Okay, old news already but I actually wrote this last week. Psychopath Alec Baldwin unleashed a volcanic outburst of threats and insults to his 11-year-old daughter, Ireland, calling her a “thoughtless little pig,” and bashing her mom Kim Basinger. And I just learned that a family judge was so alarmed after hearing the tape, that she has temporarily barred Baldwin from having any contact with his child.
So, last week on my way to work in the liberal city of Palo Alto, I noticed a sticker on the back of a car that read “Pro Child, Pro Family and Pro Choice”. I was quite confused of the messaging and still don’t understand the true meaning of the sticker. Now, I usually stay away from the whole “abortion” topic because it is very sensitive to most people; but I thought I would chime in anyway. If you are one of those overly emotional liberals, please do not read further.
Our lovely House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s trip to Damascus last week to discuss foreign policy issues with Syrian President Bashar Assad might be considered felony under the Logan Act, according to a former State Department official.
I am probably going to get a lot of flack for this but I thought I would have a little fun anyway, generalize a bit and quite possibly offend some of the liberals that read this blog; some of which are my friends and others, well…you know. The following ten tips are not true for all liberals of course, just some quick observations I have made throughout the 30 or so years of my life. Oh, and feel free to include your ‘top ten’ list for conservatives too, if you dare.
They are driving a Prius or other trend-hybrid vehicle to satisfy their eco-snobbery
Their car has multiple stickers on the back; namely, “Bush Lied and People Died” or something about “faith based missile defense systems”
They are wearing a shirt with a “peace” sign; probably with several psychedelic colors and objects. Perhaps a Bob Dylan and/or Beetles shirt too. Keep Reading »
I am sure many of you tuned in the other night to watch Sean Penn read his open letter to President Bush in front of the usual suspects. He framed it quite eloquently when he called Bush, Cheney and Condi “villainously and criminally obscene people”. I was actually really impressed with his vocabulary. Mr. Penn, your high school education really paid off that evening. While I do respect the fact that the courageous Mr. Penn toured the streets of “Baghdad during this occupational war”; that does not make him an expert in foreign policy. The fact of the matter is Mr. Penn; you don’t know what the hell you are talking about. All you do is complain about the war in Iraq and boast that Iran is such a great country. If Iran is such a great country, why not shack up with Ahmadinejad and take up residence there? Believe me Sean; you would be doing all of us ‘level headed’ people a huge favor.
