An Open Letter to Sean Penn

March 27th, 2007 Urban Conservative

I am sure many of you tuned in the other night to watch that punk Sean Penn read his open letter to President Bush in front of the usual suspects. He framed it quite eloquently when he called Bush, Cheney and Condi “villainously and criminally obscene people”. I was actually really impressed with his vocabulary. Mr. Penn, your high school education really paid off that evening. While I do respect the fact that the courageous Mr. Penn toured the streets of “Baghdad during this occupational war”; that does not make him an expert in foreign policy. The fact of the matter is Mr. Penn; you don’t know what the hell you are talking about. All you do is complain about the war in Iraq and boast that Iran is such a great country. If Iran is such a great country, why not shack up with Ahmadinejad and take up residence there? Believe me Sean; you would be doing all of us ‘level headed’ people a huge favor.

On the flip side Sean yes you are an above average actor. And, yes, I am a fan of some of your movies (i.e. Falcon and the Snowman and Mystic River); but you left-wing rhetoric puts you on the same playing field as Martin Sheen, Susan Sarandon and, of course, your fearless leader Cindy Sheehan. It’s people like you that make the Democratic Party look ridiculous and God knows that even they want all of you Hollywood types to shut the heck up!

Extreme Capitalism from Left-Wing Lunatics?

March 14th, 2007 LAConservative

Yes, limousine liberals abound (especially in California) and they WILL have it both ways! Here are a couple examples of extreme capitalism from extreme lefties. Add to the list, respond with others you might be aware of.

Nancy Pelosi

- Piatti restraunt chain

- Auberge du Soleil hotel in Rutherford, Calif

- A 25 Million dollar vineyard in northern Calif which is a non-union shop by the way!! Hypocrisy at its best huh Nancy.

Google Founders - Sergey Brin and Larry Page

- Environmental whackos yet they purchased a Boeing 767-200 wide-body jet for “personal use”! That’s a whole lot of fossil fuel spent for “personal use”.

Just Another Day Reading Liberal Blogs

March 11th, 2007 Urban Conservative

So, the other night I was stumbling various websites when I came across Liberal Rage; an ultraliberal blog by a student (I think) somewhere in Virginia and working in DC. She mainly quotes recent news and adds a twist of her liberal ideologies here and there. Wasn’t really impressed with her commentary but some of her posts I found quite humorous. She seems to me to be on top of what’s going on in poilitics, so she wouldn’t be what I consider an Uninformed Liberal; just a plain lib, nothing more, nothing less.

Then, I came across BushSucks.com. After reading some of his/her ridiculous/uneducated/uninformed and quite blasphemous comments, I immediately gave him/her the thumbs down in StumbleUpon and left some harsh words for the person(s) who gave it a thumbs up. It’s quite clear that the owner of this blog is probably 17 or 18 years old, living in Berkeley or Massachusetts somewhere driving a Prius on his/her way to a Cindy Sheehan retreat. I immediately went to Twitter and voiced my opinion about this blog to the world. Maybe no one will read it, since Twitter is full of libs as well, but it sure felt damn good to express myself.

Lastly, since I don’t spend more that 15 minutes a day reading liberal rhetoric, I came across a blog titled Michelle Malkin is an Idiot - www.michellemalkinisanidiot.com. I bookmarked this site in del.icio.us because I wanted to share this blog with a few of my friends (some being liberals that do have common sense and can argue a point with reason). Even they expressed disappointment at another liberal blog that has no value. My only comment about this blog is this:

Do you suburban house wife and ex-republican have anything better in your life to do besides spending your time writing about Michelle Malkin? Or, are you so obsessed with her that you can’t stop thinking/writing about her and her good looks? Whatever the reason is that you dedicate your life to someone else you probably don’t even know personally; at least post some commentary that holds thought or at least a good argument. Or, better yet, why don’t you just poke fun at NEO-CONS in general (as I do with libs); you will have more to write about…I assure you.

Okay, that’s it. I’m done poking fun at the left. I assume these liberal bloggers (if that’s what you want to call them) will soon find out that I am writing about their blogs and express their liberal rage by doing the same and/or by calling me names on my own blog.

Whatever.

Thoughts About The War in Iraq

March 5th, 2007 Urban Conservative

For many of you who read my blog often, you know that I normally don’t share that much personal information about myself but this is something I feel strongly about. I promise I will not get all sentimental on you either. A few weeks ago I decided to watch the blasphemous 60 Minutes when they featured some of our finest (my fellow Marines and soldiers) protesting the Iraq war (I’m sure Cindy Sheehan was in the studio audience somewhere). It brought back memories when I was on a flight down to San Diego on my way to Boot Camp. I remember how scared I was. The thought of having to go to war was heavy on my mind but I knew it was a sacrifice I had to make. The Gulf War had already ended but there was some serious tension in Mogadishu, Somalia; and I knew that I could have been next. I had to keep going ¦I couldn’t give up before I even started.

My only thought right now is that I know it is tough to be in war and away from your family and friends. But, you knew before you signed your name on the dotted line that there was a possibility of going to war, especially in today’s terror-filled world. The fact is that there are evil people who want to kill you, me and our children; not because there is a Republican in office and they dislike his foreign policy either. No, they hated us long before that and they are willing to come here to accomplish their goals. I am so glad that this wasn’t such a problem in WW2; otherwise we would all be speaking in German right now.

Dizzy About Lizzy

March 5th, 2007 Urban Conservative

Okay, so all my readers know that I am one of the coolest conservatives on the Internet today. Even though many of you hate me (liberals that is); y’all know that I am not the average capital hill conservative. I’m a new breed…a mutant…think Conservative 2.0 (more on that later). Well, I think I just met my match for the ‘coolness’ factor. While browsing through the profiles of MyBlogLog; I came across yet another conservative blogger, Media Lizzy (although not her real name). She has two blogs, Media Lizzy: Red Carpets, Saw Dust & DC Insiders, where she discusses Political Communications and Entertainment Industry analysis; and Media Lizzy: Sex, Lies & Politricks, where she discusses random thoughts about politics, men, etc. She even wrote a book that you can soon purchase online here. I encourage you to spend some time on her blogs and read some of her commentary. She is definitely a Diva and should be hosting American Idol or something. She is an excellent writer (much better than me) and she is even…well, I’ll let you decide.
