Obama & Wright: Its No Longer Cool to Hang With Racists?

May 4th, 2008 Billy Hallowell

Obama denouces wrightI know that I’m a bit late on this, but I can’t resist commenting. Barack Obama has [finally] separated himself from his former father figure-pastor-confidant-spiritual advisor. In a speech that came approximately two months later than it should have, Obama called Reverend Wright’s media hoopla nothing more than a series of incomprehensible rants. If elected, let’s hope he’s quicker when it comes to addressing national security issues. Considering his vast political experience (cough, cough), I’m sure we have nothing to worry about. After all, Obama’s got more than enough hope and change to go around, right?

If Obama’s recent denunciation isn’t a sure-fire decree that his leadership skills need tailoring, I don’t know what is. Only now, when Obama’s numbers are slipping, has he decided to step forward against his bigoted former pastor. Not only do I find it reprehensible that Obama waited to long to disavow his mentor’s words, but it’s also laughably ironic. His supporters will say one of two things – either “Reverend Wright was right (no pun intended)” or “Obama is finally doing the right thing.” Both statements are shamefully incorrect.

Barrack Obama on Abortion, Capital Punishment, Healthcare and Gun Control

March 31st, 2008 Urban Conservative

This is why he won’t win the election.

When Obama was seeking state office a dozen years ago, he took extreme liberal positions in a questionnaire he filled out: flatly opposing the death penalty, in support of a federal single-payer health plan, against any restrictions on abortion, and in support of state laws to ban the manufacture, sale and even possession of handguns.

A month in review: Democrats, Immorality, Criminal Behavior and Sniper Fire

March 27th, 2008 Urban Conservative

I know, I know…kinda harsh but it sure does sound good! Well, read on because these are just the facts, not my opinion. In recent news, Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick – a rising charismatic democrat, pimp daddy and Detroits youngest elected leader was charged last Monday with perjury (a felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison) and other counts after sexually explicit text messages contradicted his sworn denials of an affair with a top aide. Of course, Kwame claims that he is a victim of racism; but that is highly unlikely since the Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy and the majority of the City Council is also black.

Obama says NO to Dream Team but what about McCain and Condi?

March 10th, 2008 Urban Conservative

John McCain and Condi RiceLast week, Hillary hinted about a possible ticket with Barack; and of course the media is painting it as “the dream team” for democrats. Yet today, Barack Obama rebuked the idea of being Hillary’s running mate as Vice President and said that voters must choose between one of the two for the top spot on the fall ticket. In his words with a slight attitude, I dont know how somebody who is in second place is offering the vice presidency to the person who is first place…and I am not running for vice president, I am running for president of the United States of America. Here is the video.

Barack Obama is not my Homey

The Cult of Barack Obama

The media is in love with him. His cult-like followers are cheering, crying, fainting and passing out, similar to that of Scientology rally that I once attended. You can call it the Barack Obama tent-gathering revival meeting that were once common among Evangelical Christians in the U.S. over a century ago. Here’s a quick video:

Barack Obama Endorses Communist Punk Che Guevara

February 19th, 2008 Urban Conservative

Che Guevara Picture in Obama’s Campaign OfficeOf course, this hasn’t received any mainstream media attention whatsoever.

So, we all know that Barack Obama already has an issue with wearing the American Flag on his jacket; and with putting his hand over his heart during the National Anthem. When isolated, these two issues may seem insignificant but when you look at it holistically, there is a huge problem. On a more important note, can anyone tell me why in the hell is he sporting a Cuban flag with a picture of Communist punk (and murderer) Che Guevara on the wall of his Houston campaign office? Where in the hell is the outrage from the mainstream media?
