The New York Times at its Best (Indeed)

February 26th, 2008 Billy Hallowell

I’m still dumbfounded by the New York Times’ audacious front-page report about Sen. John McCain and an improper relationship he allegedly had with a female lobbyist.  And when I say “dumbfounded” I am not claiming surprise at the clear bias the Times held in what appears to be a very calculated news release; rather, I am referring to the shock I received when I realized that one of the world’s most respected newspapers published a front-page piece that lacks the foundation one would expect to find in a high school research paper.  From the New York Times:

A female lobbyist had been turning up with him at fund-raisers, visiting his offices and accompanying him on a client’s corporate jet. Convinced the relationship had become romantic, some of his top advisers intervened to protect the candidate from himself — instructing staff members to block the woman’s access, privately warning her away and repeatedly confronting him, several people involved in the campaign said on the condition of anonymity.

Bernie Ward: from Priest to Liberal Radio Host to Pedophile

February 21st, 2008 Urban Conservative

Bernie Ward

Ormaybe hes been a pedophile since priesthood.

We live in such a great country where alleged criminals are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. What a great criminal justice system we have, indeed!  And then along comes this poor excuse of a human being Bernie Ward; a worthless parasite who fantasizes about having sex with his own kids.  He and other vile scum bags like this are reasons why this law should be changed, specifically for crimes against children. Am I pissed? Hell yeah! I hate pedophiles with a passion!

Barack Obama Endorses Communist Punk Che Guevara

February 19th, 2008 Urban Conservative

Che Guevara Picture in Obama’s Campaign OfficeOf course, this hasn’t received any mainstream media attention whatsoever.

So, we all know that Barack Obama already has an issue with wearing the American Flag on his jacket; and with putting his hand over his heart during the National Anthem. When isolated, these two issues may seem insignificant but when you look at it holistically, there is a huge problem. On a more important note, can anyone tell me why in the hell is he sporting a Cuban flag with a picture of Communist punk (and murderer) Che Guevara on the wall of his Houston campaign office? Where in the hell is the outrage from the mainstream media?

Hillary needs to hang up the gloves and accept defeat

February 14th, 2008 Urban Conservative

Hillary Clinton Campaign TrailWere going to sweep across Texas in the next three weeks. She said just yesterday while campaigning in El Paso, Texas.  Good luck Hill!

Meanwhile, Obama just racked up his 6th, 7th and 8th consecutive wins since Super Tuesday — trouncing her in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia and moving into the lead in the delegate count. According to Hillary’s advisors, it was all the weather’s fault since many of Hillary’s supporters are senior citizens….and we all know that seniors can’t drive in the rain.  And, with the Texas and Ohio Primaries right around the corner, her campaign is in complete turmoil.  Rumor has it that there is major drama within her inner circle. Of course, this always happens when people are fired and replaced (say adios to hottie Patti Solis Doyle and welcome to…well, um, Maggie Williams).

McCain takes strong Command, Conservatives Mad!

February 6th, 2008 Urban Conservative

John McCain

John McCain basically swept Super Tuesday and made him all but unstoppable.  He was able to rack up enough convention delegates in Super Tuesdays voting to put him within arms reach of the coveted GOP presidential nomination that eluded him eight long years ago.

McCain led among moderate Republicans of course, while Romney held strong support from conservative Republicans, according to early results of exit polling in 16 states for the AP and television networks.

The Wings Have Lost Their Nuts (And Bolts), Indeed

February 4th, 2008 Billy Hallowell

weapons of mass destructionThe American ultra-left has an array of despicable tendencies.  And while I would be elated to provide an alphabetical list of the damaging ideals held by this portion of society, I will compose myself and limit my rant to one attribute: The ultra-left’s unwillingness to back the American government – even when it becomes painfully obvious that our officials are correct in their assertions – and even when millions of American lives are at stake.

We’ve been in a sociopolitical civil war since the Iraq war broke out in 2003; the world has been embroiled in debate over U.S. motives for invasion, George W. Bush’s alleged lackluster decisions, and the plethora of American policy decisions that have colored our world since September 11, 2001.
