A month in review: Democrats, Immorality, Criminal Behavior and Sniper Fire

I know, I know…kinda harsh but it sure does sound good! Well, read on because these are just the facts, not my opinion. In recent news, Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick – a rising charismatic democrat, pimp daddy and Detroits youngest elected leader was charged last Monday with perjury (a felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison) and other counts after sexually explicit text messages contradicted his sworn denials of an affair with a top aide. Of course, Kwame claims that he is a victim of racism; but that is highly unlikely since the Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy and the majority of the City Council is also black.

And, of course we cannot forget the Reverend Wright fiasco that has monopolized media coverage and blogs everywhere. I am not going to elaborate too much here; but for those who are either brain dead and/or haven’t heard, Obama’s pastor – Reverend Jeremiah Wright – has anti-American tendencies and has been accused of anti-Semitism towards Israel. Obama was wise enough to condemn Rev. Wright’s comments and the pastor has since resigned from Obama’s campaign. Obama has taken some heat from the ClintonsHe would not have been my pastor – said Clinton referring to Rev. Wright. He has also been criticized (a complete understatement) by other black Christians, specifically Pastor James David Manning of Atlah World Ministries, who had these kind words to say … “Obama is a Mac-daddy. Obama pimps white women and black women …” referring to the sexy video by Obama girl, singing “I Got A Crush on Obama”.

A couple of other interesting things to note are Louis Farrakhan’s endorsement and support for Obama. And lastly, this story cracks me up but fully supports a previous post where I wrote about how liberals want forced income redistribution because they refuse to do it voluntarily. It was reported that Obama gives less than 1% of his income to charity.

And, we can’t forget the honorable-tough-on-crime former Governor of New York Eliot Spitzer (Client Number 9) who not only cheated on his wife with a prostitute but is also facing criminal charges as well. His successor Dave Patterson who is now Governor also admitted to infidelities that ended several years ago. And he - like all politicians - claimed that he did not break the law or his oath of office in any way. We shall see!

The funniest of the news is how Hillary Clinton lied about risking her life under severe sniper fire during a visit to Bosnia 12 years ago. In her own words… “I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base.” No Hillary, there was in fact a greetings ceremony and there was no sniper fire at all. Of course she is human and admitted to making a mistake. Kudos to CBS (they are finally earning their credibility back) for breaking this story, just a little.

On a side note, one of Hillary’s senior advisors Sidney Blumenthal, a journalist and former White House adviser to President Clinton, was charged with drunk driving. Apparently, he has a drinking problem because this was not his first arrest.

With all this drama on the democrat side, it’s no wonder why people are jumping ship to support McCain, as this poll suggests.

  1. That's all quite true.

In a spirit of fairness, I've got to point out that a Republican politico killed a motorcyclist a few years ago. Not on purpose. The lawmaker was driving with nearly enough booze in his system to be a fire hazard.

As I recall, he said he was sorry.

If this wasn't a serious matter of selecting a leader for America's next four years, the Obama/Wright/black pastors and the "God damn America" fiasco would be hilarious.

I've said this elsewhere, but: When elections shake the tree of liberty, quite a few loose nuts fall out.

"Kudos to CBS (they are finally earning their credibility back) for breaking this story, just a little."

Come on guys - are you kidding me? They knew about this story and sat on it... that's not courage that's called "we want Katie Couric to get her debate with the Democrats" politicking...

Only after the WashPost broke the story (and even they weren't the first - Limbaugh was probably the "first man on the scene" in his radio show) did CBS reveal their 1995 footage against the CSPAN video...

Besides - its all part of a calculated strategy anyways:

The problem for Sen. Clinton is - you can't be fast and loose with the facts in the information - super techno - YouTubing every second of your life - digital age...

But I will say I too saw the Barely Political spoof - and it was hilarious!

  10. "GREAT VIDEO! HILLARY DIDN'T LIE ABOUT BOSNIA."

    Wow.

I'd say that the video got it just about exactly right.

It's not cricket, I suppose, to bring this up: but didn't one of the Clinton camp invent the Internet, too?

Thanks for that video link. I needed a humor break.

  11. Enough has been said by others about Hillary Clinton's made-up story about landing in Tuzla, Bosnia under sniper fire in 1996. I don't need to add any new details. I would like to make one observation based on my own life experience.

During my career as a DEA agent, I was involved in three shooting incidents: In one, a fellow agent was killed when he dropped his gun, and it accidentally discharged. In another incident, a fellow agent fired a shot at a suspect who was attempting to run him over with his car. Only the third incident was a full-blown shoot-out, in which three cops were wounded and the main suspect was killed.

My purpose in drawing on these experiences is simply to point out that when one is involved in a shooting incident it stays with you for the rest of your life. Not only does the memory remain, but the details remain clear. There is no honest explanation for "remembering" shots being fired when none were. (I should hasten to add that my experiences were as a law enforement officer as opposed to those of a soldier who may have engaged in numerous firefights in a war zone such as Viet Nam, Afghanistan or Iraq.)

Many of Hillary Clinton's defenders are attempting to pass this off as an "honest mistake" or a "misstatement". She herself has attempted to describe it in those terms. It is neither. On at least three occasions, Hillary Clinton has recounted this story, which clearly never happened. Only when the videotape of her arrival in Tuzla surfaced has the truth been revealed.

There is only one clear explanation for this story. It is an intentional lie, and it is a direct reflection on Hillary Clinton's veracity, credibility and character.
