Free Speech for all, except for Conservatives

July 2nd, 2007 Urban Conservative

I am not a big fan of free speech because some people well, umm…just make an idiot of themselves when they open their mouths; but like it or not, it does exist. So, I wonder what the big deal is when Anne Coulter called John Edwards a “faggot back in March. Everyone who saw the tape knows that she was only kidding, yet she continues to get attacked by the mainstream media and liberal blogs. The fact is that Ann Coulter has the right to say any damn thing she wants; even if it’s that she wishes John Edwards would be killed in a terrorist assassination plot (sounds quite similar to the comments made by Bill Maher about Cheney a few months back - and where was the outrage?).

Yes indeed, seems like Anne’s comments are a tad bit extreme but let’s go back to all the things that liberals have said that the media hardly ever reports:

Rosie O’Donnell (aka: the beast) - The Bush administration was behind 9/11.

Michael Moore - I personally hold Blair more responsible for this war than I do George Bush. The reason is, Blair knows better, Blair is not an idiot. What is he doing hanging around this guy?

John Kerry - You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.

Ron Paul (who?) - We had 9/11 coming to us because we were attacking Iraq.

Natalie Maines - Just so you know, we’re ashamed the president of the United States is from Texas

Janine Garofalo (horrible actress and failing talk show host) - This dumbing down and this pseudo patriotism, which is very conveniently partisan, because the dumb and the mean love patriotism…Yeah, it’s my country right or wrong. Well what of these colors don’t run? What do you mean? I don’t know. They use the word evildoer with a straight face, knee jerk reactionary phrases that go down well from the Republican Party with the dumb and the mean and then the mean pretend that it’s unpatriotic to be critical of your government.

Hillary Rodham Clinton - This administration is waging war on poor children.

Al Gore - He betrayed this country! He played on our fears! He took America on an ill-conceived foreign adventure dangerous to our troops, an adventure pre-ordained and planned before 9/11 ever took place!

Cindy Sheehan - George and ***, you are both shameful cowards who are sending our brave young people to die to make yourselves and your buddies unbelievably and fabulously wealthy. Neither of you have any idea of the true human, sorrowful cost of war nor do you care that you are ruining lives by the thousands and thousands. You both disgust me beyond belief.

This fat liberal kid on Youtube – I hate Anne Coulter. I just hate her. She is a meany head. I hope she is killed and her bones are ground up to make bread; and that bread is broken by Jesus and that bread is fed to 5,000 people. Amen.

So, for all you cracker head liberals that read this blog…why is it always a double standard with you? You bitch, complain and cry about tolerance yet exercise none whatsoever. You hate capitalism, but did you know that the Edwards camp made $300,000 in campaign contributions using the video of Anne’s comments? I bet not!

By the way, before you start sending me hate mail saying that I hate the US and the Constitution, I was only kidding about hating free speech!! I have done far more for this country than most of you…have a sense a humor.

No More “Poor Little Elisabeth

May 24th, 2007 Urban Conservative

Finally, Elisabeth has stepped up to the plate and defended herself and her conservative values against the beast.  This is exactly what I mean when I define Conservative 2.0; not a change in conservative ideology; but a change in attitude, character and demeanor. If you didn’t see it yesterday on the View, here is a quick recap:

All the drama started when Rosie expressed disapproval to Elisabeth for not defending her when her comments about “soldiers are terrorists hit controversial buttons within the media. When Rosie confronted Elisabeth about whether she believed the comment was directly calling U.S. soldiers “terrorists Hasselbeck didn’t directly answer.

And then the drama ensued:

We all know that Elisabeth and Rosie have disagreed several times before on the show, but yesterday’s battle royal was more than intense and quite fun to watch. When the topic of the Iraq came up, the two went medieval on each other.

Rosie called Elisabeth “cowardly,” and Elisabeth responded back at Rosie that she’s not “poor little Elisabeth,” even dissing guest co-host Sherri Shepherd’s (who in the hell is she anyway?) suggestion that she chill for the sake of her unborn child.

Rosie said that fighting with Elisabeth was “absurd and told her “for three weeks you can say all the Republican crap you want. However, she wouldn’t allow Rosie off that easy saying, “It’s much easier to fight someone like Donald Trump because he is obnoxious. Good job Elisabeth.

Oh, and that other thing about Alicia Silverstone snubbing Elizabeth…ummm, who in the hell is she anyway but another has been - Hollywood liberal that thinks they are an expert in foreign policy like Sean Penn.

Anyone else sick of Rosie like I am?

May 22nd, 2007 Urban Conservative

On Monday morning’s “The View,” co-hosts Rosie O’Donnell and Elisabeth Hasselbeck almost took off the gloves and went toe to toe. This time, the argument was over the use of the word “terrorist” when talking about U.S. troops fighting in Iraq. And once again, as Rosie always does, interrupted Elisabeth with her ranting about the Bush Administration and stated, “I don’t think our American troops are terrorists,”…”I want our American troops home.” Yeah right, like Rosie really cares about anything except media attention and her eating habit! Can her replacement hurry up and get here?  Anyone else irritated about this or am I completely way out of line? Rosie deserves a new category on this blog. I have a feeling that I will be writing more about Miss. Chucky O’Donnell in the near future.

Goodbye Rosie, We will miss you, NOT!

May 9th, 2007 Urban Conservative

I don’t think there is anyone happier than I that Rosie will not be returning to the View nest season; and quite honestly, I think they all suck with the exception of the lovely (conservative) Elisabeth Hasselbeck. I don’t know about you but there is just something about Rosie that bugs the crap out of me. And even though I am no big fan of the Trumpster either, I did enjoy his bashing of her, her career and the View in general.  Oh and boy do I agree with Camille Paglia’s column just yesterday where she points out that “O’Donnell is a bad advertisement for liberalism”.   I couldn’t agree more; and hopefully Joy Beeeeeehar is on her way out too! So the question remains; who will replace Rosie?
