Here I am … a Proud Mother, Proud Democrat says Hillary Clinton

August 26th, 2008 Urban Conservative

These were words from Hillary Clinton when she presented at the Democratic National Convention this evening in Denver Colorado.  I know, I know … these are just words coming out of the mouth of woman who has finally accepted defeat and it shouldn’t bug me.

But I am a little emotional right now.

It is comments like this that clearly exemplify that most (I said most, not all) democrats put their beloved party before everything else; and the truth is that most of the readers on this blog who claim to be democrats do the same damn thing. It’s like the pathetic Oakland Raiders fans who claim every year that their team will be going to the Superbowl. They are loyal but unrealistic.

That’s one reason why I left the Republican Party; because I refuse to rely on a political party or a “savior politician to solve all of my problems. The sad truth is that democrats of today are not the democrats of yesterday and for her to say the following is absurd:

Whether you voted for me or voted for Barack, the time is now to unite as a single party with a single purpose … No way, no how, no McCain. Barack Obama is my candidate and he must be our president.

I ask, what the hell is the purpose of the Democratic Party? What are your goals and objectives other than “change?  What’s your vision? How is selecting Joe Biden as a running mate support the vision of “change when he is a lifelong politician? I ask the same questions to Republicans too. Don’t get me wrong, I am supporting John McCain during this election; but I am not going commit suicide or move to Canada if he loses, which I think he might depending on who he chooses as a running mate.

And here is the irony in this situation, in which McCain capitalized on.

McCain released a new ad (see below) that replicates Clinton’s famous “3 a.m. theme from the primaries, in which she challenged voters to think about who they wanted handling a late-night global crisis from the White House. In McCain’s remix of the video, Clinton is quoted from the primaries praising McCain’s “lifetime of experience that he will bring to the White House and belittling Obama by comparison saying “and Senator Obama has a speech he gave in 2002.

These politicians are a joke and have no core at all! They stand for NOTHING!

Meanwhile, I heard from the grapevine that anti-war lunatic Cindy Sheehan told about 200 demonstrators in Denver yesterday that not much has changed since her month long war protest outside President Bush’s ranch in Crawford, Texas, in 2005. At least she stands up for what she believes in and isn’t glued to the Democratic Party like most liberals.

A month in review: Democrats, Immorality, Criminal Behavior and Sniper Fire

March 27th, 2008 Urban Conservative

I know, I know…kinda harsh but it sure does sound good! Well, read on because these are just the facts, not my opinion. In recent news, Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick – a rising charismatic democrat, pimp daddy and Detroit’s youngest elected leader was charged last Monday with perjury (a felony punishable by up to 15 years in prison) and other counts after sexually explicit text messages contradicted his sworn denials of an affair with a top aide. Of course, Kwame claims that he is a victim of racism; but that is highly unlikely since the Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy and the majority of the City Council is also black.

Obama says “NO” to Dream Team but what about McCain and Condi?

March 10th, 2008 Urban Conservative

John McCain and Condi RiceLast week, Hillary hinted about a possible ticket with Barack; and of course the media is painting it as “the dream teamâ€? for democrats. Yet today, Barack Obama rebuked the idea of being Hillary’s running mate as Vice President and said that voters must choose between one of the two for the top spot on the fall ticket. In his words with a slight attitude, “I don’t know how somebody who is in second place is offering the vice presidency to the person who is first place…and I am not running for vice president, I am running for president of the United States of America.” Here is the video.

Hillary needs to hang up the gloves and accept defeat

February 14th, 2008 Urban Conservative

Hillary Clinton Campaign Trail“We’re going to sweep across Texas in the next three weeks.” She said just yesterday while campaigning in El Paso, Texas.  Good luck Hill!

Meanwhile, Obama just racked up his 6th, 7th and 8th consecutive wins since Super Tuesday — trouncing her in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia and moving into the lead in the delegate count. According to Hillary’s advisors, it was all the weather’s fault since many of Hillary’s supporters are senior citizens….and we all know that seniors can’t drive in the rain.  And, with the Texas and Ohio Primaries right around the corner, her campaign is in complete turmoil.  Rumor has it that there is major drama within her inner circle. Of course, this always happens when people are fired and replaced (say adios to hottie Patti Solis Doyle and welcome to…well, um, Maggie Williams).

Can America really afford Hillary as President?

January 29th, 2008 Urban Conservative

Hillary Clinton

Okay, all liberal bashing aside. I thought I would give you all a glimpse of Hillary’s proposals if she is elected as President; and then you can decide whether or not we can afford her spending habits.

Update on Obama as he rips into the Clinton Political Regime

January 20th, 2008 Urban Conservative

On Friday, Obama ripped into Bill Clinton during an ABC interview with Good Morning America host Robin Roberts.  He said – which I fully agree with – that he feels like he is running against both Clintons:

Bill has taken his advocacy on behalf of his wife to a level that I think is pretty troubling. He continues to make statements that are not supported by the facts. Whether it’s about my record of opposition to the war in Iraq or our approach to organizing in Las Vegas. This has become a habit and one of the things that we’re going to have to do is to directly confront Bill Clinton when he’s making statements that are not factually accurate.

Obama was dead on…Bill has been making inaccurate statements his entire career as President; and I wish he would shut his mouth.  This is exactly why the Democrats will not win the election, again.  They spend the majority of their time attacking their opponents instead of talking about how they are going to lead our country.  Here is another example of how the Clintons mischaracterize their opponents and display their hypocrisy at the same time.

And this years Academy Award goes to Hillary Clinton

January 7th, 2008 Urban Conservative

The scene looked like a clip taken directly from 1983 tear jerker, Terms of Endearment. There she was…Hillary sitting at a table in Cafe Espresso in Portsmouth, New Hampshire with 16 undecided voters, mostly women and gently taking questions. She seemed very calm and sincere. Then came the question; one that she wasn’t expecting (or perhaps she was). I mean, she does have a habit of planting her peeps at random events equipping them with predetermined questions.

“My question is very personal, how do you do it?” asked a woman sitting in the way back. She mentioned Clinton’s hair and appearance always looking stunning. “How do you, how do you keep upbeat and so wonderful?” Wonderful?

Hillary leading in the National Polls

December 19th, 2007 Urban Conservative

Hillary Clinton

….but probably not in a poll where she wants to be leading.

This is funny. 40% of Americans say they would vote to keep Hillary Clinton from winning the upcoming election; more than twice the total for their number 2 “anti” pick, Rudy Giuliani (who I am not a big fan of either).
